Conduction: This is the transfer of energy from one molecule to another within a substance. It occurs when molecules are heated, they move faster and have higher kinetic energy. This energy is then transferred from molecule to molecule, from a higher temperature area to a lower temperature one. This is how, for example, a spoon in a hot cup of coffee eventually gets hot.
So, all three options - convection, radiation, and conduction - are ways in which energy is transferred.
