i) Data: Data refers to distinct pieces of information, usually formatted and stored in a way that is concise and easy to retrieve. For example, a database of student grades where each record includes fields for first and last name, course, and grade received.

ii) Big Data: Big data refers to extremely large data sets that may be analyzed computationally to reveal patterns, trends, and associations, especially relating to human behavior and interactions. For example, social media platforms collect big data on user behavior to tailor advertisements or suggest new connections.

iii) Data Visualization: Data visualization is the representation of data or information in a graphical format. It helps to analyze and illuminate patterns, trends, and outliers in groups of data. For example, a bar chart showing the number of sales per quarter can quickly and easily convey information to the viewer.

iv) Multidimensional Data Visualization: Multidimensional data visualization is a technique used to represent data that has more than three dimensions. It helps to understand the relationships between different data points. For example, a 3D scatter plot can show the relationship between three variables, each represented by the x, y, and z axes. If color is used to represent a fourth variable, this becomes a multidimensional data visualization.
