Do we know of any intellectual property in our area that may not be so wellknown to others or does not have a trademark? Similarly, now we are going to workwith intellectual property of our area–1. First, as before, each group of us willlook for such intellectual property inour area or district.2. We may take a longer time for thissearch upon the teacher’s permission.3. In this case, we may take the help ofdifferent people in the area becausethey may have information aboutsuch materials.4. After collecting our selectedintellectual property, we will collectdetailed content. The content can betexts, images, videos, etc. 5. This time, we will make that contentsuitable for commercial use. The propertymust be trademark registered to make itsuitable for commercial use. We have knownearlier how to do the trademark registration ofany intellectual property for its commercialuse. We will apply for trademark registrationof that intellectual property by visitingthe specified website and following theprocedure.6. In this case, the intellectual property’s original owner must first explain what theintellectual property is and the importance of trademarking it. So, your group needsto give the original owner a clear idea about it so that s/he agrees to register his/herintellectual property as a trademark.7. Then, the intellectual property owner has to be explained his next responsibility byapplying for registration of the trademark within the prescribed period.8. Then, a policy of commercial use of that intellectual property has to be formulated.You will also help the original owner formulate this policy by following the rules shownin the book.9. You can help make his intellectual property appropriate for commercial use.Surely, after completing the whole procedure, the owner of intellectual property inyour area will benefit a lot. Besides, when you become an intellectual property owneryourself, you will also benefit from this prior experience. Wonderful, no?
