Solution

All three types of cells - bacterial, plant, and nerve cells - have cytoplasm and ribosomes in common. Cytoplasm is the fluid that fills a cell and ribosomes are the sites where proteins are produced.

In addition, plant cells and nerve cells (which are a type of animal cell) have a nucleus and a cell membrane. The nucleus is the control center of the cell, containing the cell's DNA, and the cell membrane is the barrier that separates the inside of the cell from the outside environment.

However, bacterial cells do not have a nucleus. Instead, their DNA is found in the cytoplasm.

As for the other options:

  1. Not all three types of cells have a cell wall and mitochondria. Only plant cells have a cell wall and mitochondria are absent in bacterial cells.

  2. Not all three types of cells have flagella and chloroplasts. Flagella are used by some bacteria for movement and chloroplasts are found in plant cells for photosynthesis. Nerve cells do not have these structures.

So, the correct answer is (2) Cytoplasm and ribosomes.
