Solution

Let's denote the number of packets of apples as A and the number of packets of guavas as G.

From the problem, we know that:

  1. G = A + 10 (since Anisa bought 10 more packets of guavas than apples)
  2. 1.1G + 1.9A = 41 (since the total mass of both fruits bought is 41 kg)

We can substitute the first equation into the second to get:

1.1(A + 10) + 1.9A = 41 1.1A + 11 + 1.9A = 41 3A + 11 = 41 3A = 30 A = 10

Substituting A = 10 into the first equation gives:

G = 10 + 10 = 20

So, Anisa bought 20 packets of guavas.
