In Philippians 2:6-8, Apostle Paul provides a profound insight into the sacrifices made by Christ through His incarnation. The passage reads, "Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!"

1. Sacrifice of Divine Privileges: Christ, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped. This means that even though He was God, He did not use His divine power for His own advantage. He willingly gave up His divine privileges to become a man.

2. Sacrifice of Majesty: Christ made Himself nothing, taking the form of a servant. This is a significant sacrifice as He went from being the King of Kings to a humble servant. He willingly chose to live a life of humility and servitude.

3. Sacrifice of Life: The ultimate sacrifice that Christ made was His life. He became obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. This was the greatest sacrifice of all, as He gave His life to save humanity from sin.

In addition to these, Christ also sacrificed His heavenly home to live in a world full of sin and suffering. He experienced hunger, thirst, pain, and ultimately death, which were all foreign to His divine nature. His incarnation was a sacrifice of love, made to redeem humanity and restore our relationship with God.
