Solution

The feature that commits the changes of Azure Data Factory work is the "Publish" button. Here are the steps:

  1. After making changes in your Azure Data Factory, navigate to the top menu.

  2. You will see a "Publish All" button. This button is used to commit all the changes you have made.

  3. Click on the "Publish All" button. A side panel will appear on the right side of the screen showing the list of all changes that are about to be published.

  4. Review the changes and if everything is correct, click on the "Publish" button at the bottom of the panel.

  5. A confirmation message will appear, asking if you are sure you want to publish the changes. Click "Yes".

  6. The changes will now be committed and published to the Data Factory.

Remember, until you click the "Publish All" button, all the changes you make are only saved in the draft version and are not reflected in the live Data Factory.
