Vendor Lock-In: It can be difficult for customers to switch from one cloud service provider to another due to differences in standards. This can lead to a dependency on a particular service provider.

Downtime: While cloud service providers promise high availability, there's always a chance of downtime due to maintenance, upgrades, and unexpected issues.

Data Sovereignty: Data stored in the cloud may reside in any location in the world where the service provider has their data centers. This can lead to legal and compliance issues, especially for data that is subject to data sovereignty laws.

Cost: While cloud computing can be cost-effective in the short term, long-term costs can add up, especially for larger organizations. The pay-as-you-go model can become expensive if not managed properly.
