Bernardino Ramazzini is often referred to as the "Father of Occupational Health". He was an Italian physician in the late 17th and early 18th centuries who is known for his pioneering work in occupational medicine. Ramazzini's book "De Morbis Artificum Diatriba" (Diseases of Workers), published in 1700, was the first comprehensive work on the health hazards associated with many occupations.
