Statement of Problem:

The healthcare sector is one of the most critical areas where vast amounts of data are generated daily. This data, if properly managed and analyzed, can provide valuable insights for improving patient care and overall healthcare delivery. However, the current Medical Records System (MRS) at the University College Hospital is faced with several challenges that hinder the effective utilization of this data.

Firstly, the MRS is overwhelmed with the sheer volume of data, making it difficult to manage and retrieve relevant information efficiently. This often leads to delays in patient care and decision-making processes.

Secondly, the MRS lacks advanced data mining techniques to analyze and interpret the data. This means that potentially valuable insights are left undiscovered, which could otherwise contribute to improved patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
