It involves organizing and managing resources in such a way that these resources deliver all the work required to complete a project within defined scope, time, and cost constraints. IT Project Management includes overseeing projects for software development, hardware installations, network upgrades, cloud computing and virtualization rollouts, business analytics and data management projects and implementing IT services.

  2. Yes, to become a Project Manager, one needs a specific skill set. This includes strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, good negotiation skills, great organizational skills, a good understanding of the business and its market, competence in project management software and related tools, good problem-solving skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a solid understanding of the project's subject matter. In addition to these, Project Managers often need to have a bachelor's degree in management or a related field, and some also have a Master's degree or other advanced degree.
