Here are the steps to separate date data into year, quarter, month, and day in Power BI:

  1. Open Power BI and load your data into the program.

  2. Once your data is loaded, go to the 'Home' tab and click on 'Edit Queries' to open the Query Editor.

  3. In the Query Editor, select the column that contains the date data you want to separate.

  4. After selecting the column, go to the 'Add Column' tab at the top of the screen.
